Gluten free breakfast quinoa is a complete protein and will give you the fuel you need to get your day started off just right. It only takes about 10 minutes to cook, so you won’t spend all morning in the kitchen. This dish is topped with pure maple syrup and strawberries, but the sky’s the limit! Quinoa Breakfast Quinoa with Maple and Strawberries
1 c. Quinoa – rinse in cold water
2 c. water
1/4 tsp. sea salt
Rinse quinoa and drain. Bring water, quinoa, and salt to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook until all water is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
1 tsp. cinnamon
2-3 Tbsp. Pure Maple Syrup (I use grade B for it’s richer flavor) You could also use brown sugar.
Fresh strawberries – sliced
Your favorite Non-Dairy milk.
